This is just one of dozens of cats and kittens abandoned at the former LeMesa trailer park in Morgantown WV. Our rescue, Homeward Bound, is seeking to capture all of these kittens and seek vet care and fosters for them.
A lot of them are in rough shape and we need a lot of donations! Please find the full story and consider donating at our YouCaring page!!
These cats are depending on US, and right now, we’re depending on YOU. Homeward Bound is a very small non-profit organization!
If you live in or near Mon County, WV, please consider making donations of food, litter, or humane traps. If you are able to foster a cat or two, please contact us! We need all the help we can get!

Hey guys! The start of my school year is almost there, which means money will fly out of my wallet faster than a snitch during Quidditch World Cup. So. I’m opening commissions to take a little financial weight off my mother’s shoulders.
All the info under the cut:
Commission for thelumpyabyss, Haru in adorable overalls. This was super fun, thank you so much!

You don’t expect to hear a rabbi say “act as if there were no God” and mean not “do whatever you feel like doing” but “recognize that the ultimate responsibility for doing good in the world lies with you.” I kind of love this.
This isn’t that unexpected tbh
It’s a pretty standard take on Jewish ethics, tbh.
Can we just talk about the level of no homo during the crying scene though?
I just love how Rei and Nagisa stand there sobbing with two solid feet between them like awkward idiots because hugs are gay
But it’s okay for Nagisa to hold on to Makoto because there’s no sexual tension between them, so it can’t be mistaken as gay
Kyoani knows if Rei and Nagisa hugged it would be gay because hugs totally happen in this show, just NOT between legit pairings
BONUS gender-normative comment:
Stfu you giant poodle
Uggh seriously. I loved this scene so much, but they had the perfect opportunity to throw a Reigisa hug in there! Honestly, it was like super uncomfortable to just watch them stand there and cry, it would have been LESS awkward for them to hug tbh.
Like Rei started crying first then Nagisa followed, he could have easily clung to him like he did in episode 3, but this time Rei could wrap his arms around Nagisa. It wouldn’t have been like “omg homo” because it was such an emotional moment uugh.
And I know a lot of people talk about how physical contact is such an intimate thing in Japan, and I get that, but just look at Nagisa! He breaks all of those rules all the damn time. He’s hugged Haru and thrown himself on Haru multiple times, but he can’t fucking hug his best friend as they’re both sobbing? The lack of a Reigisa hug has nothing to do with Japanese culture and more to do with the fact that KyoAni didn’t want to put a hug in there because it would look too gay, or because they really like to fuck with everyone’s feelings.
Also yeah, that line really bothered me. It seemed really out of character for Makoto to say that, so I’m just gonna blame bad writing xD
Thank you! I get asks all the time saying it can’t happen because hugs aren’t acceptable in Japan, but considering the number of hugs, glomps, full-body wrap-arounds, and cuddles we’ve gotten in this show, I don’t understand why it’s unreasonable that these two particular characters, who are one another’s best friends, can’t touch each other? It screams of censorship. Hugs are okay in some situations, but not ones that can be mistaken as gay. I don’t buy it.
im reading a lot of nezushi angst fic, and i needed to draw something to lift my spirits cuz damn OTL
